This past weekend we went to St. George with my family (except Amy and Sean who are in Mass. and who we missed greatly) and had a great time. I will admit it's hard to just sit back while everyone else has all the fun, but it's well worth it.
Thanks to my cousin Jamie and her hubby Casey we stayed in a cabin about 20mins outside of St. George. It was such a fun relaxing trip and it was great to all be in one place.
Kayci by the flintstone houseLet me just share a kids say the darndest thing moment, friday night we went to dinner and I took Kayci to the restroom and I had to go anyways she looked and me and said "mom your bum is to big for that toilet" well I just had to laugh because I am large don't you just love that kids can say anything and are so innocent in what they say. We decided right there in that restroom that after I have this baby she will help me work extra hard so my "bum" will fit on the toilet again.

This is Colby's rope swing, unfortunately later on he was swinging again and there was a knot higher in the rope that slipped through and he plummeted about 4feet straight to the ground onto rocks. No worries though he was back swinging again after taking a few ibuprofen...
Looks like you had lots of fun! Love your blog. It's nice to see what everyone is up to even though we live so close. Colby is absolutely crazy, but I am sure he has a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteYea your back! I am glad you recorded Kayci's little thought to you about the toilet. You will be able to laugh about that for the rest of your life. AND you can use that line on HER when she is pregnant!!

ReplyDeleteI just wish you had a video when he fell! WOW-that rope swing looked pretty scary, plus with a huge crash? That has Colby's name written all over it! I'm glad you had such a fun weekened and don't worry...Kayci still loves you with your prego body!!! I love the funny things she says!
