Lake Powell 2010

Summer never really kicks off until we go to Lake Powell and this year was great. We had 49 of us packed onto two houseboats. This is my aunt and uncle's "Grand America" houseboat, and the other houseboat known as Motel 6 is on the other side you can't even see it. We were able to block off a little cove and have a great area to ourselves!!!
Like Colby always says if you've never been to Lake Powell your Half-retarded (I know that's a mean word, but that's what he says).

Here's the whole gang!!! Grandma and Grandpa your the greatest we have such a close knit family because of all your love and support you give us
.Here I am at the bottom of Colby's slip-n-slide!!! It was lots of fun and of course unreal I can't believe the determination!!! I don't want to brag, but I have the funnest and best husband ever he is always thinking of something new and adventurous for us to do and when it comes to slip-n-slides he knows how to get it done. Of course they are never big enough for him!

Just hanging out. I wish I had a picture of where my uncle Mike was able to park his houseboat, there was probably only 20-30feet off the back of the houseboat until these rocks

Here's Kayci and Ty-ty our future wakeboarders they are just getting a little feel before they show us how it's done. It was so fun to watch them with their dad's!!!

Kayci and Ty-ty with Grandpa he was telling them stories and they were laughing so hard it was fun to watch.
I love this picture it just too cute!!! Don't worry the can was not open we didn't hype him up on a energy drink!!! Colby drank a full one of these and had about 10 otter pops and that night he was so wired that while we all sat there dead tired he was waundering around and when he did sit down his feet just kept going up and down like a little kid, just goes to show you energy drinks really do work.

JD and Colby sporting their "Baha Men" costumes, we had theme days and our family was in charge of caribbean night well my wonderful husband and JD taught us a line dance and made some virgin margaritas while we partied. Our other theme nights included glow-in-the dark (it was fun to see all the kids asleep on top of the houseboats surrounded by glow-in-the-dark sticks), then we had the olympics where we tried to go down the slide without getting our heads wet as a team, and we had a water polo tournament (believe it or not, but it got a little heated) last we had a obstacle course this included throwing the egg across the lake, then taking the egg down the slide, going across the molecule and tramp and of course finishing with taking it down the slip-n-slide it was pretty fun. We also had a unbirthday theme day and the kids loved playing the games. I will have to admit that even though I am usually a grouch when it comes to themes it was very fun and I enjoyed all the different theme days!!!

Thanks again for another great trip to Lake Powell!!!
Pictures don't do it justice, but here is Colby's slip-n-slide... this is Jaxson going down!!!
